Eagle Plume, Charles, 1908-1992,
Charles Burkhardt was a Blackfoot Indian from Denver who attended the University of Colorado where he won several oratorical contests. He spent three years as an Army Scout and returned to Colorado as "Charlie Eagle Plume", a popular lecturer and purveyor of Indians crafts at the Perkins Trading Post in Estes Park.
