Born Genesee Co., N.Y., Sept. 23, 1819; moved to Middlebury, Shiawassee Co., Michigan 1843, taught school 2 years, 1844 worked in Cravens sawmill, moved to Duplain in 1845 where he died. Married Mary Page July 2, 1856 and had six children; William Page, Jason Crank, Alisia Mable, Mary Amanda, Sarah Elizabeth and Jackson Curtis. Died Jan. 27, 1396. (from D.A.R. 3 Flags Ch. Gen.
