Peer, Elizabeth, 1936-1984.
Elizabeth Clow Peer (1936-1984) worked as a reporter for "Newsweek" magazine from 1958-1984. She was the magazine's first woman foreign correspondent while in Paris from 1964-1969 and later its first woman foreign bureau chief while also in Paris from 1976-1978. Peer served as senior writer from 1978-1984.
