Benjamin Neely Young is a leading figure in the Georgia journalism and publishing industry. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1965. In 1999 he purchased Georgia Trend, a monthly magazine reporting on Georgia's business and political environments. He is currently the publisher and editor of Georgia Trend, and formerly the publisher of The Daily Citizen-News of Dalton, Georgia. Young is a former president of the Georgia Press Association and CEO of the Morris Newspaper Corporation, Savannah. He has written columns for Clayton News/Daily and The Regional Dialogue of Jonesboro, Georgia, and Georgia Trend. Young is involved with the Clayton County Rotary Club, and served as president from 1995-1996.
