Eastman, George Herbert.

George Herbert Eastman ran the London Missionary Society Mission in Rarotonga from 1913-1918. Between 1918 and 1947, he ran the LMS Gilbert Islands Mission which was based at Rongorongo on the island of Beru. His service with the LMS ended in 1949, after which he and his wife Winifred (nee Grimwade, married 1914) retired to Swanage in Dorset, England.
