Earhart, Harriet Adams.
A nurse in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps stationed in Florida, Harriet Adams met a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, Robert H. Earhart, and married him in 1944. He was sent to Europe and killed in March 1945. They had a son, Robert, Jr., nicknamed Butch, born in January 1945.
