Pond, Fern Nance, 1889-1960.
Historian for the Old Salem Lincoln League which helped in the restoration of New Salem, Illinois, a deserted village where Abraham Lincoln had once lived and where he had known Ann Rutledge. Pond helped to secure authentic furnishings for the restored cabins.
