Cota, Norman D. (Norman Daniel), 1893-1971
Norman Daniel Cota (1893-1971) was Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, 1st Division of the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1943, and also Assistant Commander of the 29th U.S. Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) during 1943. Cota then served as Commanding General of the 28th U.S. Infantry Division, ETO from 1944 to 1945.
