Sir Richard Arthur Surtees Paget, 1869-1955
Paget was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 1895. In 1900 he was Secretary to the Patent Law Committee; in 1905 Secretary to the University College Transfer Commission; 1915-1918, Assistant Secretary to the Admiralty Board of Invention and Research; and in 1953 President of the British Deaf and Dumb Association. He published many writings on human speech and language.
