The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas at San Antonio was established in 1982 and dissolved in 2000. The college comprised four divisions: Behavioral and Cultural Sciences, Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, Education, and Social and Policy Sciences. The Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences was Dwight F. Henderson.

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) at the University of Texas at San Antonio was established in 1982 through the merging of the College of Multidisciplinary Studies (1975-1982) and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (1973-1982).

The college comprised four divisions: Behavioral and Cultural Sciences, Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, Education, and Social and Policy Sciences. It was also home to the Alamo Area Council of Government Law Enforcement Academy, Center for Archaeological Research, Center for the Study of Women and Gender, Center for Learning and Development Research in Education, Hispanic Research Center, Alliance for Education, Metropolitan Research and Policy Institute, and ROTC for the Army and Air Force.

The Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences was Dwight F. Henderson. Prior to this position, Henderson served as the Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences from 1980 to 1982.

The college was dissolved in Fall 2000 upon a major reorganization of the University. Academic concentrations were dispersed among three new colleges: the College of Education and Human Development, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the College of Urban Professional Programs (renamed the College of Public Policy in 2001).
