PWA Health Group
PWA (People With AIDS) Health Group formed in New York City in 1987 to facilitate access to experimental drugs for the treatment of HIV/AIDS-related infections. The Countdown/18 Months Plan was a plan to make the five major opportunistic infections which claim the most lives treatable in the next year and one-half.
