Hildreth, Ellen Stephens
Educator and woman's suffrage advocate.
A native of St. Louis, Mo., Ellen Hildreth taught kindergarten in St. Louis and Montgomery, Ala. She was the author of Mud Pies and How to Make Them; or Clay Modeling for the Home, Kindergarten and School. Hildreth was active in various women's rights and suffrage organizations.
