Dore, J. Hugo (John Hugo), 1890-1953.
J. Hugo Dore was judge of the First District of the First Circuit Court of Appeal of Louisiana and a resident of Ville Platte, La. He was State Senator for Avoyelles Parish, La., from 1928 to 1935. Dore also served on the Board of Supervisors for Louisiana State University during the "Louisiana Scandals" of 1939 involving LSU President James Smith and Louisiana Governor Richard Leche.
