Beatty family.
The principal memebrs of the Beatty family were: Charles Clinton Beatty (1715-1772), a Presbyterian minister of Neshaminy, PA and Indian missionary; and his son, John Beatty (1749-1820), a commissioned captian of the Revolutionary War, who also served as a member of the New Jersey State legislature and a delegate to the Continental Congress.
