Family of Christ Lutheran Church (Vancouver, Wash.)
Rev. Philip Yoker and his family came to the Felida area of suburban Vancouver in August of 1972 to establish a new mission congregation. In December of that year Family of Christ Lutheran received its charter from the North Pacific District. The congregation met in the Felida Community Odd Fellows Hall until December of 1974, when they moved into the new church. From a nucleus of 25 families from Messiah Lutheran, this congregation grew to 70 families as of the fall lf 1985.
