Lewis, George K. (George Knowlton), 1923-

Variant names

Nephew of George Washington, Lewis served as a captain in Washington's Life-Guards during the revolutionary war. On 1 January 1777 he became captain of the 3rd Regiment of the Continental Dragoons.
