Kiyohara, Danzō.
Kiyohara was born ca. 1881; a native of Kumamoto Prefecture he arrived in the US in 1894; attended the Univ. of CA; a businessman in So. CA, he was active in various business ventures including oil drilling in Texas and So. CA; member of many Japanese American organizations in So. CA prior to WWII and served as secretary and treasurer for the JAL (ca. 1915-17) as well as secretary and treasurer of the Japanese American Fraternity of LA (ca. 1913-14); also known as George D. Kiyohara, he died ca. 1964.
