Taylor, Lucy Hobbs
Variant namesDentist Lucy Beaman Hobbs (1833-1910) was born and raised in New York State. While teaching in Michigan, she became interested in dentistry. She received private instruction from Drs. Jonathan Taft and Samuel Wardle, in 1862 began private practice, and in 1866 received a D.D.S. from the Ohio College of Dental Surgery.
