Rita married Lyaee Keith Hutchison, a chartered accountant, in Glasgow on 4 May 1923, and it is known that they had at least one daughter. She is still present on the General Council register in 1989 , listed as living in Bristol, but is not in 1994, so she died sometime between these years.
