Luci Baines Johnson (Turpin) was born on July 2, 1947, the youngest daughter of Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson. She was a student at Georgetown University, the University of Texas, and St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She married Patrick Nugent on August 6, 1966, but they divorced in August 1979. They had four children: Patrick Lyndon (b. 1967), Nicole Marie (b. 1970), Rebekah Johnson, and Claudia Taylor (b. 1976). She married Ian Johnstone Turpin on March 3, 1984. She is chairman of the board of directors of the LBJ Holding Company.
