Griffith, Clark (Clark Calvin), 1869-1955
Variant namesClark Calvin Griffith (b. Nov. 20, 1869, Clear Creek, Mo.; d. Oct. 27, 1955, Washington, D.C.), nicknamed the "Old Fox", was a Major League Baseball pitcher and manager and owner of the Washington Senators baseball club. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, in 1946.
