Pensacola Railroad Company (1877-18 ).

The railroad company was organized under the laws of Fla. on 1877 Feb. 27. The idea behind the formation of the company was to purchase the holdings of the Pensacola and Louisville Railroad Co. Daniel F. Sullivan was the primary financier. The board of directors, elected 1878 May 4, included Daniel F. Sullivan, also president; M.H. Sullivan; G.A. Stanley, also vice-president; R.L. Campbell; and W.D. Chipley. T.E. Jordan became the secretary.
