Powell, Parker Preston, 1888-1961.
Powell was born in Yantley, Alabama. He received his B.S. and M.A. degrees in Chemistry from Alabama Polytechnic Institute. From 1912-1959 he taught chemistry there, retiring as Professor Emeritus of Chemistry.
