McCall, Adeline, 1900-1989
Variant namesAdeline Denham McCall (1900-1989) of Chapel Hill, N.C., was a teacher of music and music appreciation. She taught music education and music history at Duke University and served as music supervisor of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools for 30 years. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill she taught music for students interested in early childhood education. She authored or co-authored several books and worked closely with the North Carolina Symphony in its outreach program.
