Erwin, Betty K.
Born in Wisconsin in 1922, Betty K. Erwin wrote realistic novels that explored many of the issues facing Americans in the 1960s and 1970s, such as urban decay, fear of nuclear weapons, the decline in public schools, and poverty among urban African Americans.
