Corydon Bell was born in 1894 in Tiffin, Ohio. He attended the University of Michigan 1913-1914. He attended Western Reserve University 1914-1917. He attended the Army Medical School 1917-1918. He married Thelma Harrington in 1921, with whom he was to collaborate on many books. He was was a freelance illustrator of books and advertising 1921-1944. He was a writer, painter, and illustrator 1944-1980. He died in 1980. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, v. 3, pp. 1920.
