Pro Arte Symphony Orchestra.
The Pro Arte Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1965. It was the only professional orchestra on Long Island at that time. In its fifth season, the first permanent Musical Director, Eleazor De Carvalho, was appointed. The orchestra disbanded after the 1971 season.
