Gansworth, Howard E. (Howard Edwards), 1876-1956.
Son of Tuscarora and Seneca Indian parents, descendant of Red Jacket and related to General Eli S. Parker; attended the Carlisle Indian School and was the first American Indian to enroll at Princeton University, where he received a B.A. in 1901. General manager, later treasurer and president, of General Specialty Co., Buffalo. Avid collector of books related to Indians; active in the Princeton Club of Buffalo, Indian Welfare Society and other organizations.
