Ernest Bernbaum was an instructor in English at Harvard, 1907-1916, and an opponent of suffrage for women. He directed the School for Anti-Suffrage Speakers in Boston, a group affiliated with the Massachusetts Association Opposed to the Further Extension of Suffrage to Women.
