Adachi, Agnes
Agnes Adachi was born in Budapest, Hungary, on 26 Oct 1918. She assisted Raoul Wallenberg at the Swedish Embassy in 1943 by distributing passports. She is responsible for saving several Jews from death during an escape effort in the Danube River. After coming to the US, Adachi began working with the Greater New York Wallenberg Committee. She presently resides in Forest Hills, New York.
