Vanderhorst, Lewis Morris, 1826-1864.
Son of Elias Vanderhorst (1791-1874), a St. Bartholomew Parish (S.C.) plantation owner, and Ann Elliott Morris Vanderhorst. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and was killed in battle on May 28, 1864 in Virginia.
