Branch, T. P. (Thomas Pettus), 1864-1923.
Thomas Pettus Branch served on the Georgia Tech faculty as a professor of civil engineering from 1895 until his death. He assumed the role of Secretary of the Faculty soon after his arrival at Tech and continued in that role until his death. At the time of his death, which occurred on his fifty-ninth birthday (May 20, 1923), he also was head of the Department of Civil Engineering and Dean of the Cooperative Department.
