Clark, Lou E.
Clark served in World War I as a captain in the Iowa National Guard, Engineers Company A. He was active in the American Legion, serving as the commander of the Roy L. Chopek Post 17 in Iowa City and also as the First District commander. He was the instigator of the Legion's Grave Registration Project in Iowa, an effort aimed at documenting the burial site, service record and personal information of all of the Iowa veterans.
