Workshop Way.

Hide Profile

Educational system developed by Grace Pilon, Sister of the Blessed Sacrament, over her nearly sixty year teaching career.

The Workshop Way System of Human Growth and Development was developed by Sister Grace Pilon (1909-1995) to nourish human skills and healthy attitudes of children towards their own learning and growth. Workshop Way organizes time, materials, and strategies for the teaching of any subject matter from Grades K to 12 in order to create or maintain in individuals deep feeling of their worth as persons. The philosophy and psychology of Workshop Way evolved so that students maintain a constant feeling of their importance and a belief in their intelligence, even as they make mistakes while growing and learning.
