The Office of University Events is a division of the Office of the Vice President for Communications. The Office of University Events plays a role in a wide variety of events held on and off campus, including academic lectures, groundbreakings and grand openings, President's Medal presentations, convocations, and television and radio events in the Media and Public Affairs Building, just to name a few. The office is also an information resource for others on campus who are planning events and would like guidance and advice.Michael Freedman, Vice President for Communications, also oversees the Office of University Relations and The George Washington University Printing & Graphics.
