King, Edward A.
Edward A. King, appointed from Ohio, commanded various military units in the U.S. Army during the Civil War, including the 68th Indiana Infantry. He served as Colonel of the 6th Infantry from Aug. 1, 1863 until Sept. 20, 1863, when he was killed at the Battle of Chickamauga.
