Real estate holding company formed by John Kennedy Williamson in 1927 to manage the 25 acres in Fairfield, Conn., on which Porcupine Boiler Company (established by Williamson in 1922; dissolved 1967) was located; in 1944 Williamson-Brooks purchased Porcupine and leased it back to the company as a tax saving device; also rented other parcels of the 25 acre site to other businesses; operated until 1982, using Investors Mortgage Inc. as its management company.
