Alexander Badlam, Sr.
Biography / Administrative History
Alexander Badlam was born in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1849 he embarked on a voyage to California and back to Boston on the bark Corsair. During his voyage, which took about a year, Alexander Badlam, Sr. rode on the Oro, a British whaling ship called the Colloony, and two unnamed steamers.
