Leary (Harvard, M.D. 1895) taught pathology, bacteriology, and medical jurisprudence at Tufts College Medical School until 1929. His research was chiefly concerned with cholesterol and its role in the production of human disease, particularly atherosclerosis, and also the relation of cholesterol to human neoplasms, especially those of the kidney and prostate.
