Gonic Manufacturing Company
Woolen mill located in Gonic, a locality in Rochester, N.H. Started in 1838 by Nicholas Whitehouse, it was incorporated in 1859 by the Whitehouse family and Parker, Wilder & Company, commission merchants in Boston. In 1864 a new mill was built. Parker, Wilder & Company took over the firm in 1877 and appointed agents to run the mill.
