Percy L. Conrad was born in 1897 and grew up in Washington, D.C., at 1530 T Street, N.W. Prior to moving to Newark, N.J., in late 1921, he was a clerk at the Treasury Dept. He was married to Dollie Conrad and had one sister, Frances Conrad Clane, who remained at 1530 T Street, N.W. most of her life. He died 18 Apr. 1970 in East Orange, N.J., and was buried in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Prince Georges County, Md.
