Citizens Housing and Planning Council of Detroit.
Organized in Detroit on July 7, 1937 to study housing and public health conditions, living standards and neighborhood stability. Reorganized in 1951 under name Future Detroit, Inc. then superseded by the Detroit Metropolitan Area Regional Planning Commission.
