Variant namesAnne Green was an author who lived in Paris, France most of her life. She was born on November 11, 1899 to Edward Moon Green and Mary Hartridge Green in Savannah, Georgia. Her family moved to France shortly after her birth. Anne is the granddaughter of Charles Green, a well-known cotton merchant who was the first owner of the Green-Meldrim house in Savannah, Georgia. She died in 1979.
