Phillip Murray Portsmouth Knight, a draper's assistant of Willoughby, N.S.W., enlisted on 27 June 1915 (no. 3084) as a private with the 1st Battalion; rose to the rank of sergeant; and died of wounds on 18 June 1918. His family lived in South Melbourne, Vic.
