Caldwell, Samuel S., 1894-1953.
Samuel S. Caldwell was born in Mooringsport, Caddo Parish, La., attended Louisiana Polytechnic Institute at Ruston, was a Caddo Parish Police Juror (1932-34), and was elected three times as Mayor of Shreveport (1934-46). After retirement he became Vice President of Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association.
