Swan, Verne Sturges, 1891-

Verne Swan graduated from Cornell in 1921 with a degree in architecture. An amateur musician who collected and built instruments in his spare time, he bequeathed his collection to Cornell. Many of the instruments were sold, resulting in a Music Department scholarship in his name.
