Crane, Clara Whitney, 1893-1982.
Clara Whitney Crane, Radcliffe Colege, Class of 1914, was from Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She earned her A.M. and Ph.D. from Cornell University. She was chair of the English departments of the Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore, Maryland, and St. Paul's School for Girls in Brooklandville, Maryland. After her retirement in 1967, she moved back to Bridgewater and was active in volunteer work until her death in 1982.
