Crow's Nest Pass Coal Company
Incorporated in 1897 as the Kootenay Coal Company. The Great Northern became interested in the company in 1902, as a source of both fuel and freight revenue, and had purchased a controlling interest in its capital stock by 1907, at which time its name was changed. Great Northern sold out its interest in 1955.
