Bozeman, Harley B. (Harley Bernard), 1891-1971
Variant namesHarley B. Bozeman was born in Arkansas, but moved to Winn Parish, La., with his family when he was 10 years old. He worked as a traveling salesman (sometimes teaming with Huey Long), operated the Winnfield Drug Company with his brother, was sales manager for the Southern Minerals Company's quarry west of Winnfield, and owned a tree farm. Bozeman was Louisiana state representative for Winn Parish in 1928-1929 and later served on the Winnfield City Council. He wrote an historical column, "Winn Parish As I Have Known It," for the Winn Parish Enterprise between 1956 and 1971.
