Born ca. 1825, Colonel Olin Miller Dantzler of St. Matthews, S.C., represented Orangeburg District in the S.C. General Assembly; graduate of Randolph-Macon College; served in Confederate Army in 25th and 1st South Carolina Regiments; killed in action during Bermuda Hundred campaign 2 June 1864; married to Caroline Glover Dantzler; father of 5 sons.
